LF-ARP: LFO MIDI Sequencer for Ableton Live (Max for Live)

LF-ARP is a powerful Max for Live MIDI effect designed to transform your static notes into modulated and dynamic arpeggios. It uses an LFO to generate melodic variations applied directly to the incoming MIDI notes.

• Customizable and Draw-Your-Own LFO: At the heart of the device is a sophisticated Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO). You have full control over its speed (rate) and phase. Furthermore, you can draw your own LFO waveform for entirely customized modulation.
• "Snake" Dual Sequencer (Synchronized to Live's Tempo): The major innovation of LF-ARP lies in its architecture based on the famous Snake sequencer. This dual sequencer is always synchronized to Live's tempo and integrates:
  • 16-Step Phase Sequencer: It controls not the note, but the starting point (the phase) of the LFO. Each step defines where the modulation wave begins, allowing you to create complex and evolving arpeggiated patterns.
  • Note Trigger Sequencer: There is also a dedicated sequencer to control the note triggers (activation), giving you precise rhythmic control over the MIDI output.
• Rich Arpeggiated Results: By adding the LFO signal to the MIDI notes, LF-ARP generates note lines that resemble an arpeggiator, but with a great richness of melodic variations.
